Autumn Kisses Forum Set

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP
It was written using PSP 8 but can be done in other versions

Supplies:
Tube of Choice
*I am using the gorgeous work of Zindy S.D. Nielsen. You MUST have a license to use the same art*




PTU Scrapkit "Fallin For Bling"
*This is a beautiful kit by A Tagger's Scrap. Please visit her blog to find the stores she sells in*




Lets Get Started:
1). Open a 650*250 blank canvas
2). Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
3). Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer
*Using your crop tool make sure you crop it back to a 650*250 canvas*
Duplicate your tube
On the duplicate layer:
Adjust
Blur
Gaussian Blur 5
Ok
Change the blend mode on your tube to something that suits it
*I used Soft Light on mine*
4). Select All
Selections
Select Selections Border
Both Sides Checked
Anti-Alias Checked
Border Width 8
Copy and paste your paper of choice
Invert
Delete
Invert again
Do Not Deselect
5). Selections
Select Selections Border
Outside Only Checked
Anti-Alias Checked
Border Width 4
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with another paper of choice
Select None
6). Now is the time to add any elements to make the forum set your own
Move them below your 2 frame layers and your tube layer but above your original paper layer
7). Add the copyright information and any license information that is needed
8). Add your name
Save in your preferred format




Lets Make An Avatar:
1). Open an 150*150 blank canvas

2). Copy Merge your tag

3). Copy and paste onto your canvasPosition the portion you want to be seen in your avatar
Crop your image back to 150*150
Use the steps in Step 4 & 5 from your banner to make the border for your avatar except change the 1st setting to 6 and the second to 3 for the width

4). Add your copyright and license information

5). Save

Sometimes

Image of Choice

PTU Scrapkit Bad Ass Angel
*This is a fantastic kit by Pink Princess Scraps. You can find all of her kits at Digital Chaos*


Lets Get Started:
1). Open all supplies in PSP
Resize as you see fit

2). Open a 650*550 blank canvas

3). Using one of your papers as your background and your foreground null in the layer palette draw out a tall rectangle
Convert to Raster
*Follow these steps for another rectangle and the 2 circles. See my tag for reference*

4). Set your Foreground as a paper of choice (width set at 10) and your background as null in the layer palette
Draw out a long rectangle
Convert to Raster
Using your magic wand click inside the rectangle
Selections

Modify

Expand by 6
Copy and paste your image as a new layer
Invert

Delete
Select None


5). Duplicate your image
Adjust

Gaussian Blur by 5
Change the blend mode of your blurred image to one that matches your image


6). Add any embellishments you want to make the tag your own

7). Resize as you see necessary

8). Add all copyright information and any license information needed

9). Add your name

Silent Masquerade

Lets Get Started:
1). Open a 650*500 blank canvas
Open up all supplies and resize as you see necessary

2). Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
Layers
New Mask Layer
From Image
Choose your mask from the drop down menu
Right Click
Delete the mask layer
Ungroup the layers

3). Make one of your papers the foreground in your layer palette
Leave your background null
Draw out a rectangle using my tag as a reference
Use your magic wand to click inside the rectangle
Selections
Modify
Expand by 8
Copy and paste your image as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
Move the image under the frame

4). Duplicate your image
Adjust
Blur
Gaussian Blur by 5
Change the blend mode to a setting of your choice

5). Follow Steps 3 and 4 with a different paper to make the 2nd rectangle

6). Add any elements you want to make the tag your own

7). Resize as you feel necessary

8). Add any wordart you want

9). Add all copyright information and any applicable license information

10). Add your name

Lets Get Started:
1). Open all your supplies in PSP
Resize as you feel necessary
Open a 650*500 blank canvas

2). Using my tag as a guide draw out a rather large rectangle in the middle of your canvas
Convert to Raster
Selections
All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your image as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
Delete your original shape layer

3). On your image layer
Duplicate your image
Blur
Gaussian Blur by 5
Change your blend mode to one you like for your image

4). Using my tag as a guide draw out a small circle
Convert to Raster
Selections
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste another image as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
Delete your original shape layer

5). Duplicate your circle layer
Image
Mirror
Position like my tag

6). Draw a longer rectangle
*use my tag for reference*
Move it under all your other layers
Select All
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste your paper of choice as a new layer
Invert
Delete
Select None
Delete your original shape layer

7). Now is the time to make this tag your own
Add any embellishments you want

8). Resize if you find it necessary

9). Add the copyright information and any license information needed

10). Add your name

Hope

Supplies:

Lets Get Started:
1). Open all your supplies in PSP or you program of choice
Resize the template if you feel necessary

2). Make the Black Circle 1 layer active
Select All

Float

Defloat
Selections
Modify

Smooth

10 in both boxes
Copy and Paste your paper into selection
Select None
*Do this with all of the shapes on the template changing your papers as you see fit. I simply added noise to a couple of the shapes instead of papers and I used my tube to fill 2 of the shapes*

3). Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer
Duplicate
Blur

Gaussian Blur by 5

Change the blend mode to Multiply

*use whatever works best for your tube*

Lower the Opacity to about 75

*again use your best judgement for your tube*
Right click on your duplicate tube in your layer palette and Merge Down so that you merge the blurred layer to the original layer


4). Now is the time to make the tag your own
Add any elements you want

5). Resize however you feel necessary

6). Add all copyright information and any any license information needed

7). Add your name
Save in your desired format
